Caricaturist Rick at John Lewis Oxford St Saturday and Sunday

Due to popular demand Samsung have decided to add two more dates, Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th to the Oxford Street demo of the Samsung Note. So come along and get your caricature drawn for free. Fifth floor IT department.

I'll be drawing full colour caricatures on the latest Samsung technology, the Galaxy Note phone/tablet it's a new type of smartphone. It combines core on-the-go benefits of various mobile devices while maintaining smartphone portability. It has a 5.3 HD Super AMOLED display which gives enough area to allow you to write notes or as we do, create wonderful artwork.

I've used the i-phone to draw caricatures on and the Galaxy Note has two major advantages, the size of the screen and the S pen. Drawing with your finger, as you have to with both apple tablet devices, is all very well but it doesn't give the same degree of control. Creating nice pictures is one thing but when you're drawing caricatures be it digital or otherwise the client has a level of expectation and in order not to disappoint I would chose to draw with a pen every time over my blunt finger end.
