Tomorrow starts another run of digital caricaturing sessions at Westfield Shopping City, this time in Stratford. Most kids are back at school this week so the clientele might be different. We will be located in the Samsung shop so we'll be a little harder to find. Matt Lawrence and I will kicking things off on Tuesday and Wednesday.

I have to correct my previous blog. We will now be printing caricatures onto postcards not t-shirts in the Samsung shop in Westfield Stratford from Tuesday 21st through to Sunday 26th. The queue should be much more managable in this lower footfall area. No doubt we'll stil be scribbling away like maniacs but it's enjoyable none-the-less.

Due to popular demand we will be drawing caricatures on the Samsung Galaxy Note again next week along with the excellent Brand and Deliver. Not sure of the timings yet but we should be starting on Tuesday 21st through till Sunday 5th. if the set up is the same as Westfield White City we'll be printing on to free t-shirts.

Another great day at Westfield. We're lucky that it's half term which makes the drive in to White City so much easier. It doesn't however have the same effect on the number of visitors to the Samsung Stand. There is about a ten minute window right at the begining of the day when the queue has fewer people than caricature artists. After that brief respite it's full on for six hours. Many people have queued on separate days.

The next five days are going to be busy indeed. More digital caricaturing on the Samsung Galaxy Note, this time at Westfield Shopping Centre in White City. Have spent the last week trying to organise the schedule but we're all sorted out now and ready to go. We'll be printing the digital caricatures out onto T-Shirts this time. Caricatures, especially digital caricatures are a fantastic promotional tool for your business. Everybody enjoys watching an artist work, ask Rolf Harris and Bill Tidy. Remember 'Quick on the Draw'?

Our next venue for live colour caricatures drawn on the Samsung Note phone. 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th of Feburary. We'll be drawing colour caricatures on the Samsung Galaxy Note phone. Android technology with Dual Core 1.4Ghz, full HD record and playback with a 5.3"HD super AMOLED display and S Pen interface.

I'm working on a celebrity's caricature for his website. I can't mention any names or show any samples until the work's complete. As is so often the case the drawing starts out as a caricature and migrates to a cartoon version of that person because caricatures are not meant to be complimentary, even mine aren't that complimentary. But that's not the main problem I was having. This celebrity has seen an 'On-the-Spot' caricature that I drew of his friend and liked the style and wanted to do a similar thing for his website.

A busy but rewarding weekend in John Lewis Oxford St. I'm starting to get used to using this piece of kit. My biggest problem is where I would naturally lean my hand whilst drawing happens to be a touch sensitive button on the Galaxy Note which 'saves' the file and interupts my drawing flow. I then have to retrieve the file, activate it again before I can carrry on drawing which is really frustrating and disruptive.
