Who are UKTV I hear you ask well you've heard of the Channel 'Dave' no doubt and here's some of their other eleven imaginative brands - UKTV Play, Watch, Gold, Alibi, Yesterday, Drama, Really, Home, Eden and Good Food. They were celebrating a year at their swish new premises in Hammersmith.
I always know I'm going to like a company when I see they have table football and other such games available for the staff recreation. Young, (to me anyway), dynamic and all spoke passionately about working for UKTV and it wasn't for my benefit. My job is like speed dating. I have ten minute conversations with everyone I draw and it's easy to tell a disgruntled employee when I draw one.
Not only were they enthusing about their company but they were very complimentary about me too which in turn enthuses me. Catching 'innit!!
